Position Summary ORIX CORPORATION USA is in the midst of focusing its operations team to better support its growing business footprint in the US, driving more product complexity and scale. The team is working towards becoming a sophisticated and agile organization in its operational support of the US business. ORIX CORPORATION USA is looking for an experienced HR executive to oversee all aspects of HR and talent for its approximately 1,300 employees. The Chief HR Officer will be responsible for driving a complete transformation of the ORIX CORPORATION USA human capital strategy and organization in alignment with the company’s strategy, mission, and field of operations. He or she will serve as a strategic advisor to the COO and will collaborate with the other members of the Executive Team to navigate the workforce impact of any organizational change and lead the effort to manage the stakeholders through the transition. In addition, the CHRO will leverage his/her HR leadership team, to lead the design, delivery, and operationalization of all the HR programs and policies to achieve the business and workforce objectives. This individual will be based in Dallas, TX. The position will involve periodic travel to key office locations of ORIX CORPORATION USA, as necessary. Key Responsibilities The Chief Human Resources Officer will act as the primary business partner to ORIX CORPORATION USA's President and senior management team relative to developing the HR strategy for the organization and implementing detailed initiatives. Specifically, he/she will be required to: Collaborate effectively with the COO and members of the management team to execute business-driven human capital strategies including the adoption of new technologies and transforming the culture toward a more customer-centric and highly engaged workforce. Strategic focus, preparation, planning, and execution regarding the future of work and workforce transformation. Develop and implement a robust succession planning and management program. Coordinate HR activities across all business units. Act as a principal contributor to HR strategy and process, ensuring that the company possesses the requisite HR talent, systems, policies, training, and development programs to meet strategic financial goals. Ensure a company-wide, performance management and rewards system is in place and will drive cultural change while retaining, motivating, and rewarding a high-performing workforce at all levels - particularly as ORIX CORPORATION USA continues its strategic workforce development initiatives. Quickly and efficiently assess what is currently in place and upgrade HR policies, programs, and people where necessary. Create a plan for, and implement, a progressive HR organization aligned with business goals and objectives. Ideal Experience 15 years of progressive HR experience in a financial services organization. A strong mix of business leadership experience with a proven track record in a progressive HR organization. He or she could be a sitting CHRO or a divisional HR leader who has the skills, energy, desire, and drive to take on the top job. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded and seasoned financial services human resources executive with a reputation for being both a strategic business partner as well as a hands-on orientation. Expertise across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines and tools State-of-the-art, comprehensive knowledge, and leadership of organizational effectiveness and HR functions, with generalist experience and exposure to all core functions within the discipline. Experience and capability in quantifying the components and results of the HR function, and developing metrics that help define and improve the services provided by the HR team. Experience in organizational development and change management Ideally leading large-scale organizational transformation – both from an organizational design standpoint as well as relevant cultural shifts. Develops an explicit understanding of which relationships are most important to the organization and its stakeholders, and builds a network prioritizing these relationships.
