POSITION SUMMARY
The Controller supports the Company’s financial reporting and period end close process. Responsibilities include ownership of the month-end close process, supervision of AR and AP teams, oversight of audit & sales tax compliance, and participating with the CFO on various reporting tasks. The Controller is expected to lead the accounting, AR, and AP teams for both divisions of Headlights.com and support company growth initiatives. Headlights.com has a fast-paced and team-based culture and is looking for someone knowledgeable and fun to lead our Accounting team into the future.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
Accounting Specialties
· Oversee daily accounting functions
· Accounting entries to the General Ledger
· Review & monitor controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
· Monthly accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
· Guidance of AR & AP Teams
· Inter-departmental collaboration to ensure accounting aligns to business practice
· Coordinate external audit with help of Accounting Team
· Respond to internal and external requests for information
· Bank account reconciliations
· Daily reconciliation of cash entries
· Daily cash management reporting
· Participation in month-end reporting and annual budget
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Accounting or Finance Degree (BS or higher)
Experience: 7 years progressive accounting experience, previous Controller or Accounting leadership preferred. Ability to lead a small to medium sized team. Multi-division experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of Office 365 products. Demonstrative familiarity with ERP systems. Knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce or Quickbooks Online strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time – Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm, ability to work extra hours around month-end close.

License/Certification: CPA (Preferred)
