Origami Risk is Hiring a Remote Manager, Service Data & Analytics

Overview

The Manager, Service Data & Analytics will lead a team responsible for leveraging data to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Origami’s professional service organization. The role will collaborate closely with Origami’s Professional Services Leadership to provide actionable insights, drive strategic initiatives, and optimize processes. This role will foster close working relationships with stakeholders within and outside operations to drive data-driven insight, reporting and performance measurement. This role will be based in our Atlanta or Chicago office and will be a hybrid work schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive reporting framework to track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and trends related to service delivery and performance.
  • Accountable for monthly executive-level presentations and reports, effectively summarizing complex data and insights to support strategic decision making.
  • Manages and performs project retrospective analysis to drive insights from internal stakeholders, clients, and financial measures.
  • Analyzes colleague utilization data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization, collaborating with leadership to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversees the design and continuous evaluation of dashboards and reporting to provide real-time visibility into project health, performance, and profitability, enabling timely decision-making and course correction.
  • Provides insights and recommendations to leadership on resource allocation strategies, ensuring efficient resource utilization while maintaining Company growth and profitability goals.
  • Collaborates with business operations team to drive technology and software vendor requirements to increase efficiency and enhance overall data strategy.
  • Calculates and reviews program and project level-projections against budgets and identify opportunities for cost-savings.
  • Audits allocations for future work against project plans and to support related forecasting activities.
  • Partners with finance and service to facilitate accurate and compliant revenue recognition practices within the services division, providing necessary data and insights to support financial audits and reporting.
  • Collaborates with the finance team on financial planning and forecasting activities, leveraging service-related data and insights to contribute to revenue and hiring projections.
  • Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, acting as a trusted advisor on service-related reporting and analytics matters.
  • Responsible for OKR expectations, additional training, and growth opportunities for team members.
  • Completes team member performance evaluations and manages the performance review and compensation process for their team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in business analytics, workforce planning, consulting, or other highly analytical role.
  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with PowerBI or similar tools a plus.
  • Proven experience in service reporting, analytics, or a related field, preferably within a software-based organization.
  • Track record of effectively facilitating meetings and quickly establishing trust and credibility to grow business relationships vital to the success of the company.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically and execute swiftly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
