Department: Human Resources (May temporarily work at two Chehalis plant locations)

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Benefits: Permanent, fulltime position benefits include medical, dental, and vision on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Schedule: Must have fulltime availability including: day, swing, weekends, overtime and some holidays

Job Responsibilities:

The Human Resource Clerk performs administrative support tasks in human resources. The position is under direct supervision of the Human Resources Manager.

• Maintain confidentiality on all matters related to the position and the organization
• Assist with onboarding and applicant process for new hires
• Maintains accurate employee files and records
• Processes documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
• Assist with employee requests regarding human resource issues, policies and schedules
• Assist with resolving employee concerns and communicating information to employees
• Supports the organization during unemployment claims review process
• Responsible for maintaining archive records
• Answering general questions regarding employment, records, and status
• Customer service and clerical responsibilities including: answering phones, drafting documents, printing items, organizing work, relaying messages, etc.
• Learn and comply with company standards and operating procedures
• Maintain attendance records
• Assist with record keeping on Kronos
• Back-up to Human Resource Department
• Assist with training time office personnel
• Perform all Time Office functions
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 months of Human Resources OR Office Administration experience OR equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
• Ability to multitask as well as manage changing priorities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year(s) of Human Resources OR Office Administration experience OR equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Multilingual
• Data entry experience
• KRONOS database experience
