As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team remotely.

Position Overview:

As a Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our Oral Surgery offices. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, monitoring outstanding balances, and collaborating with insurance providers and patients to facilitate timely payments. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to contribute to our team from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable functions for multiple Oral Surgery offices, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
• Review and reconcile patient accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate payments.
• Handle credentialing duties, including maintaining provider credentials, submitting credentialing applications, and ensuring compliance with credentialing requirements.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and unpaid invoices to minimize accounts receivable aging.
• Utilize accounting software and other tools to maintain organized records and track payment activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries and provide support as needed.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with billing standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Preferred 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of billing and reimbursement processes, including familiarity with insurance claims and medical coding.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote work environment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
