- Responsible for reviewing and releasing orders that are on credit hold.
- Researches disputed customer balances and correct any errors.
- Reviews the status of delinquent accounts and initiates collection efforts on term, mass, bulk, distributor, and COD accounts.
- Prepares statements and communicates with delinquent accounts.
- Required to cross train and demonstrate competency on all essential job functions of the department.
- Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Demonstrate ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment with great attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret documents. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Great understanding of payment remittances and problem solve short payments, over payments, and other discrepancies.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; and talk or hear.
- The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
