Lead Engineer for DevSecOps work with Oracle’s Government Defense & Intelligence (GDI) organization. Responsible for directing a team of engineers on the implementation and ongoing enhancement of Oracle’s DevSecOps tool chain and corresponding services. Deep understanding of DevSecOps concepts such as Bakery, Cyber Arena and Orchestration is required.
Familiarity with common DevSecOps tools as well as common Department of Defense Security tools such as:
Terraform
Ansible
Microservices
Kubernetes”
GitLab
Familiarity with Cloud Native Foundation and common tools
Must be able to interact with Mission Partners to understand their requirements, particularly around their current security posture and development/deployment processes. Engineer will evaluate and make any changes/adjustments, if required, to the Oracle DevSecOps tool chain to meet Mission Partner needs. Be able to work with Mission Partners to help them transition their current processes to adapt the DevSecOps tool chain. Oracle takes a crawl, walk, run approach to transitioning customers to DevSecOps, this is a journey over time with iterative improvements – not a quantum jump.
Stay on top of updates/changes to Department of Defense security posture such as Zero Trust, Micro-segmentation etc. Understands Security Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) at a deep level.
Strong understanding of the accreditation process within the Department of Defense.
The position is largely remote, however, periodic travel to meet with Mission Partners is expected.
Must currently hold and have the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance.
