Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader in electricity, is currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager to drive their Change Management efforts. This Hybrid role, located in Arlington, VA OR Lincoln, NE, requires experience and knowledge on internal change management. The preferred candidate will possess experience leading the Change Management Swimlane/Workstream to manage and report out on the status of organizational change readiness with recommendations of mitigation strategies.

Experience of the right candidate:

The Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) via the Association of Change Management professionals (Or other Change Management Certification).

Demonstrable ability to develop, support, and execute the change management strategy on a project where the scope and details of the changes are yet to be determined and finalized.

Project management and coordination.

Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

Change management leadership to develop, support, and implement a comprehensive change management strategy enabling end-user awareness, acceptance and adoption at the project and enterprise level.

Include framework for identifying impacts of change for internal stakeholders, manage expectations, and minimize disruption.

Support change management activities for external stakeholders.

Lead and manage the Change Management Swimlane/workstream to manage and report out on the status of organizational change readiness and recommend ongoing mitigation strategies.

Report activities and progress to the Program/Project Manager

Participate in meetings and project ceremonies as defined by the Program/Project Manager.

Develop, advise, and drive change management program activities including but not limited to change management roadmap and plan, risk assessment, change readiness assessment, and change management communication plan.

Manage and oversee the change management communications, training, and engagement of swim lanes/workstreams.

Manage and oversee communications development and dissemination for the duration of the program.

Manage and oversee training development and delivery in support of the Project changes.

Ability to aide existing project managers in swimlane/workstream activities as needed.

Provide periodic assessments/benchmarks to gauge the success of the change management program.
