Nature Of Work:

We are looking for a dedicated Direct Care Staff/Direct Support Professional/Care Giver who can be entrusted with the well-being of the clients and one who demonstrates a caring approach to perform work of moderate difficulty providing habilitation services to individuals with Disabilities (Mental and Intellectual etc.) and to assist clients living with mobility limitations. Your duties will include performing housekeeping tasks, assisting clients with meals, taking care of their personal hygiene needs, and socializing with the clients is very important. As a Direct Care Worker, your duties include running errands and driving clients to appointments.

Direct Care Worker Requirements:

• Exceptional ability to assist clients with mobility, personal care, and hygiene needs.
• Ability to perform essential housekeeping duties, run errands, and prepare meals.
• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary environment,
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a caring approach
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Any combination of education, training, or experience demonstrates the ability to perform the position's duties. Complete any additional training required for the Job
• Must be at least 18, a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Automobile Insurance, a valid California driver’s license, a current registration, and a DMV printout are required if driving Individuals.
• Health Screening Clearance with TB Clearance Results.
• Current Standard First Aid/CPR card.
• Must pass State of California Dept. of Public Safety background check/FBI/DOJ.
