Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an Electronics Test Technician in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for performing testing processes for electronic components. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Utilize test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, network and spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Read and follow diagrams, schematics, and spec sheets
- Soldering (level three) and rework
- Work with small parts utilizing magnifying equipment
- Building test benches ranging from DC to 110 GHz
- Experience with electronics, RF hardware, or related discipline, or 5 years of equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of microwave components testing and repair
- Experience with microwave components test/repair, including amplifiers, LNAs, mixers, block converters, and synthesizers
- Selected candidates will be required to pass all prehire employment checks, which may include a criminal background check and drug screening
