The Role: Marketing Operations Manager
As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will oversee the integration of technology and process. This includes leading our marketing technology stack, obsessing over our funnel processes and workflows, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining compliance with marketing privacy laws.
This role is highly cross-functional and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities and impact expect in 2024:
  • Data Management Strategy: Enhance data integrity and market reach, manage the marketing database strategy, and ensure compliance.
  • Marketing Technology Roadmap: Review and optimize our marketing technology stack to align with future goals for scale and efficiency
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Reporting (ongoing): Engage with go-to-market stakeholders to lead, align, and enhance lead-to-revenue processes. Review our reporting portfolio, prune and add new insights.
  • Operational Strategy and KPI Focus: Take ownership of marketing attribution and tracking, focusing on KPIs like funnel conversion rates.Campaign Operations Support: Provide daily hands-on support and team coaching on campaign operations, including architecture, lead management, and segmentation.
Performance-Based Objectives, first 120 days:
  • Acclimate to our marketing operations, technology tools, and existing processes, including hands-on campaign ops execution.
  • Review our technology stack, establish relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders. Ensure our compliance and governance is industry best practice. Assess our operational strategy for marketing attribution, tracking, and reporting, including defining requirements for lead source, tracking methodologies, and UTMs.
  • Establish new processes and train teams, integrating strategic changes across marketing operations. Provide ongoing, hands-on support of campaign operations execution. Focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as funnel conversion rates, funnel velocity, integration errors, and database health to drive operational improvements and increase agility and performance.
  • Achieve full control over all marketing operations management tasks. Successfully maintain all newly implemented systems and strategies, ensuring they are fully aligned with our business objectives and continue to optimize for peak performance.
  • Recommend enhancements to our current strategy to support international growth, particularly in EMEA.
While we don't specifically require experience with the following technologies, we want you to know that we have a modern technology stack, and your job will be to continue evolving our pipeline-generating machine. We have been consolidating and streamlining our platforms; your job will be to come in and continue to evolve our best practice deployment for scale.
Our marketing technology stack today includes Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, conversational marketing (Drift or Qualified), data sources including ZoomInfo, analytics such as Looker and FullCircle, partner enablement including PartnerStack and Crossbeam, and direct marketing using postal. There is no shortage of investment, but is it the right strategy for future scale? That's up to you.
We are looking for specific examples from your previous experience that prove you can do this job successfully. We want you to advance your career and are looking for someone excited by this challenge, knowing they can lean on the leadership team around them for growth.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is generally between $130,000-$150,000 per year and depends on experience. Location: This position can be based anywhere in the U.S. All positions will require up to 30 days of travel per year for company-wide events (typically January, May, and September). Senior Management and Leadership Team members will require up to 35 travel days.
