Job Summary & Responsibilities Safely Operates Forklift to move and organize product in production area (50% of role) Conduct Nonconforming Material Review and disposition Product nonconformance analysis and corrective/preventative action coordination and execution System/Process based corrective/preventative action Validate Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for product with dimensional issues Process all valid RMAs Assist in the continuous improvement projects for chronic nonconformance issues Generate Daily and Weekly Reports reporting MRB activity to management Receive and process movement of material. Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing and distributing of incoming material This role will require the Lead to create a climate in which people want to do their best; empowers others; invites input from each person; makes each individual feel his/her work is important; is someone people like working for and with. Provides daily directions and leadership to the receiving department and its activities Delegating and assigning tasks. Ensure that the receiving is operating under strict good material handling practices. Anticipate, communicate and resolve internal and external issues that could affect receiving optimization. Coordinate/lead efforts to improve receiving operations. Identify operational issues and process improvement opportunities to management, propose solutions. Engage with cross functional groups to facilitate problem resolution and continuous improvements. Primary focus with Buyers and Planners Accountable for the safe operation of all equipment, including forklifts, hand tools, and other equipment in the operation. Transaction Errors: Responsible for researching and identifying root cause. Accountable for ensuring receiving area is 5S ready 24x7 and promotes 5S activities to sustain the organization and safety. Lead will immediately document and report to the Manager any situation, incident or problems that directly relate to the completion, and timely dispatch of any and all assigned work. Must investigate and report all accidents and near misses to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager in a timely and efficient manner. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Associates or bachelor’s degree. Knowledge: Oracle system Skills: Coordination Skills, Material Expedition Skills, Communication Skills, ERP Skills, Team Skills. Certified or ability to be forklift certified on all forklift equipment. Ability to successfully train team members.
