Overview

Manage and oversee the daily operations of corporate accounting functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

· Managing Accounting Staff.

· Manage Heavy AP Processing.

· Support monthly and annual closing processes.

· Maintain general ledger.

· Monitor and analyze accounting data.

· Establish proper accounting methods and policies.

· Meet financial accounting objectives.

· Compile and analyze data.

· Perform audits and reconciliations.

· Manage income and expenditures.

· Manage financial software.

· Work within deadlines/keep accounting current.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The position requirements include, but are not limited to:

· Work experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager, preferably 2 or more years’ work experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

·  Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills

· Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations

· Experience with accounting software and databases.

· Superior data management and data analysis skills

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.

· Strong experience managing and mentoring staff.

· String experience with Full-Cycle accounting.

· Efficient in PDI or other ERP systems.

· Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with advanced Excel skills required.

· Point of Sale Transaction experience a plus.

Education

The position requires the following educational experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or related field.

· Or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
