The Dental Department has an opening for a full-time Dental Front Desk Receptionist. This is a full-time position located on our main campus (30th & L) and Northwest Clinic. The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.

The Dental Front Desk receptionist serves as one of the first point of contacts for patients and visitors of the clinic. Responsibilities include providing prompt, informative and professional customer service to visitors, patients and staff, as well as ensuring timely, accurate and secure registration of patients. The Dental Front Desk will also assist the dentist when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
  3. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office required. Experience with Dentrix or other comparable software system preferred.
  4. Strong Attention to detail, positive customer service, effective teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
  5. Demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate filing system for the retrieval of needed information.
  6. Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to providers, patients, and representative of third-party payers and the ability to work as a "team" member of the medical office staff.
  7. Demonstrated ability to carry out the assigned duties of this position independently or with only minimal supervision.
