About the Team
Our Customer Connect team is looking for a Senior Scrum Master who is passionate about the customer experience and has analytical and multi-tasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role is responsible for reviewing the long-term Salesforce enabled business roadmap for the multiple channels, ensuring that cross functional product, delivery and business teams are working in concert to deliver business value. The individual will have an intimate knowledge of the current state of the business and technology and implements the plan to achieve the desired future state.
About the Job
The scrum master is responsible for organizing all sprint agile ceremonies, including scrum meetings, it's essential to plan and communicate business prioritization during backlog reviews and Program Increments (PIs). Should have specific functional objectives and success criteria that focus on generating innovative solutions to critical business problems. Effective communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to teach and present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity. Being process-oriented and having strong problem-solving skills are important in embracing and motivating change. Must be Salesforce Admin certified and must have worked in multiple Salesforce implementations in their prior projects. Should have the knowledge to create and maintain project plans and deliverables, assign tasks to team members, and coordinate their efforts to ensure project progress. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing necessary adjustments to keep projects on track are crucial expectations. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders is essential, as well as managing project risks and proactively addressing issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View

• Facilitating Scrum ceremonies: The Scrum Master is responsible for organizing and leading Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. They ensure that these events are conducted effectively and within the prescribed time limits.
• Coaching and guiding the team: The Scrum Master educates and supports the team in adhering to Scrum principles and practices, helping them to continuously improve their processes and performance.
• Removing impediments: The Scrum Master works proactively to identify andresolve any obstacles or blockers that may hinder the team's progress. This may involve coordinating with external teams, stakeholders, or management to address issues.
• Shielding the team: The Scrum Master protects the team from external distractions and interruptions, allowing them to focus on their work and deliver high-quality results.
• Ensuring transparency: The Scrum Master fosters open communication within the team and with stakeholders. They ensure that relevant information, such as progress and risks, is shared effectively and promptly.
• Collaborating with the Product Owner: The Scrum Master works closely with the Product Owner to ensure that the product backlog is well-maintained, prioritized, and aligned with the project goals.
• Continuous improvement: The Scrum Master promotes a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to reflect on their performance, identify areas for growth, and implement necessary changes.
• Monitoring project progress: The Scrum Master tracks the progress of the project using various metrics, such as sprint burndown charts and velocity, to ensure that the team stays on track and meets its goals.
• Nurturing a collaborative environment: The Scrum Master encourages a positive, collaborative atmosphere within the team, promoting open discussion and fostering a sense of shared responsibility.
• Ensuring Salesforce best practices: As a Salesforce Scrum Master, they have a deep understanding of Salesforce technology and best practices. They ensure that the team adheres to these guidelines and leverages the platform's capabilities effectively.

 Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is often preferred. However, relevant experience and certifications may sometimes compensate for the lack of formal education.
Scrum Certifications : A Scrum certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), demonstrates a strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices.
Salesforce Certifications : A Salesforce certification, such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Platform Developer, showcases knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities. For a Scrum Master working specifically with Salesforce projects, this is highly valuable.
Experience : Prior experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Project Manager in an Agile environment is important. Experience working on Salesforce projects or with Salesforce technologies is a plus.
Agile Mindset : A strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, along with the ability to adapt and apply them to different situations, is essential for a Salesforce Scrum Master.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for facilitating collaboration, resolving conflicts, and ensuring transparency within the team and with stakeholders.
Leadership Skills : The ability to lead, inspire, and motivate team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement is crucial for a successful Salesforce Scrum Master.
Problem-solving Skills : Being able to identify and resolve impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress is an important skill for a Scrum Master.
Time Management Skills : A Scrum Master must be able to effectively manage their time and prioritize tasks, ensuring that Scrum ceremonies and other responsibilities are completed efficiently.
Interpersonal Skills : Building relationships and working effectively with diverse team members, stakeholders, and management is important for a Salesforce Scrum Master.
Our Senior-Scrum Master earn between $128,400-$192,600. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
