**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

**Enrollment and Recruitment**

* Provides leadership and support to Family Support Specialists and Directors in the areas of Family Support, Advocacy, Community Partnerships, Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility, and Attendance (ERSEA) as outlined in the Head Start Performance Standards.

**Program Development and Implementation**

* Develops systems for the management and compliance of Family & Community Partnerships programming, ERSEA, and Health Services provided at the head start sites

* Reviews each programs Family Support, Parent Involvement, and Community Partnerships files, providing constructive feedback

* Promotes coordination and integration of Family Support and Community Partnerships

* Participates in the evaluation of program services through the Self-Assessment process

* Has primary responsibility for the development of the Family & Community Partnerships, ensuring that the plans address the requirements of the Performance Standards

**Staffing and Professional Development**

* Develops training and other support systems to address identified needs and services

* Conducts regular meetings with Family Support Staff

* Assists in the hiring of Family Support staff at the sites

* Provides training and technical assistance to Family Support Staff to ensure that Head Start requirements are implemented appropriately and consistently across sites

**Recordkeeping**

* Monitors database entries to ensure that all information is complete, accurate, and timely including all child and family information, health records, referrals, case notes, and Family Partnership Agreements

* Provides Technical Assistance to Site Director and Family Support Staff when needed to correct problems

* Generates all necessary program service reports

**Professional Leadership and Community Outreach**

* Serves as a liaison to the social service community

* Conducts Health Service Advisory Committee Meetings

* Works closely with the Management team and program consultants to coordinate services as needed

* Coordinates the development of the Community Partnerships and Community Resource directory at each location

* Coordinates development and implementation of the required trainings for parents

* Coordinates the work of Health consultant to ensure that program health needs are met

* Collaborates with the Health Community to support the provision of health services to children and families

* Collaborates with staff to achieve NAEYC Accreditation

* Provides program, classroom, and center staffing support as needed

* Performs other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education/Experience**

* A Bachelors degree in social services, human services, family studies, social work, counseling or a related field and 5 years of experience working with children and families

**Other**

* Reliable transportation, valid drivers license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance
