Our client is looking for a local Delivery Driver to join their team in Hobbs, NM. This role comes with several perks including full benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off.
Benefits
- Full time, direct hire with full benefits package
- Pay range: $19 - $20 / hour depending on experience
- Set Monday through Friday schedule
- 7 am - 6 pm
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks for delivery to locations specified by customers, and complete deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
- Prepare receipts for load picked up and/or issue receipts for goods delivered.
- Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
- Maintain telephone or radio contact with Dispatch Crew Leader or other supervisor to receive or confirm delivery instructions.
- Operate forklift and other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Inspect truck equipment and maintain vehicle in clean and safe working order.
Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for this position.
