Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Review project plans, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accuracy and feasibility
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and address any issues or concerns
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Oversee the procurement process for equipment, materials, and supplies
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and milestones
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, or HeavyBid
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
