JOB SUMMARY:
The OMP Medical Assistant Educator provides clinical education and program coordination in regards to all OMP training programs. Additionally, the OMP Medical Assistant Program Coordinator will also assist in Education within the in OMP outpatient clinic and performs duties that are consistent with their Medical Assistant education, training, experience, and certification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High school diploma/GED. Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health. AA in healthcare or related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare in an outpatient clinic required. Leadership experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
Current Medical Assistant – Certified license issued by the WA State Department of Health
