Oliver Freundlich Design (OF/D) is currently seeking a Junior Deisgner to join their residential architectural and interior design firm in the heart of New York’s Soho neighbourhood.

OF/D does not subscribe to one design aesthetic. Their spaces are inspired by their clients, their unique project requirements, and tastes. Through an intimate and collaborative process, they design solutions that maximize the aesthetic potential and beauty of a space while optimizing how that space is going to be used. The goal is to create spaces that are rooted in a sense of place and reflective of the lives within them.

Responsibilities:

• 3D visualization for internal development and client presentation
• Drafting residential drawing sets through all phases of a project
• Material research, sourcing, and specification
• Assisting with construction administration activities

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture
• 1-3 years professional work experience with exposure to residential design projects
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
• Willingness to ask questions and work closely as a team through an iterative process
• Detail and problem-solving oriented
• Motivated by a desire to take on responsibility
• Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe CS and MS Office
