Job Function :

Works with minimalsupervision to perform skilled duties related to facility operations. Duties include construction and generalmaintenance and repair of building components;

mechanical, electrical,plumbing. May also include assistance with moving of furniture and equipment.

Essential Job Functions :

Efficiently and safely operate power equipment.

Assist in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing; including preventative maintenance, construction and renovation projects.

Perform HVAC preventive maintenance, especially filter replacements, scheduling and ordering for the campus.

Assist in construction and facilities related maintenance, installation and projects.

Assist in performing in the diagnosis and repair all light fixtures on campus.

Responsible for documentation of all daily work performed including but not limited to maintenance operation reports, work order requests and replacement parts.

Assist with moving heavy equipment including office furniture / tables.

Assist with other assignments within the department.

Keep University tools, equipment and work areas clean, maintained and in good working condition.

Follows safe work practices and policies.

Completes all mandatory training and participates in a minimum of two professional development days each year.

Performs other duties as assigned.
