The Human Resources Intern is responsible for contributing and supporting to the operational Human Resources needs of the business. They assist the human resources department functions to ensure the organization is well positioned to achieve the overall business goals. They work directly with the organization’s senior HR leaders and employees. Some of the duties the intern will be assisting with are: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, recruiting, and organizational development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study or nearing completion
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience with UKG HR and Payroll system or other related HRIS preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze, interpret and explain various human resources topics.
