Oberlin Filter Company is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Pewaukee, WI

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager with an understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities include overseeing and nurturing client accounts, managing territories, and strategically expanding our market presence in the petrochemical, metalworking, metal-finishing and food industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Business Development:
  • Assist in developing a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory and core markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.

Technical Expertise and Product Knowledge:

  • Utilize your combined understanding of industrial processes and the technical aspects of our products to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
  • Provide technical support to customers, including product recommendations, troubleshooting, and application assistance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products in the market.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Conduct customer visits, meetings, and presentations to promote our products, address customer concerns, and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in science degree or equivalent degree/experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to understand industrial processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and build long-lasting relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
