Job Summary:

This position provides excellent beverage service for members and their guests, abiding by the service standards of the Club. The staff will be expected to have an excellent understanding of outdoor, table-side and poolside service. The Bartender position will also be expected to go above and beyond to deliver memorable events, while bringing a high level of energy and professionalism.

Job Duties:

· Prepare alcohol or non alcohol beverages for bar, restaurant and banquet

. Assess customer’s needs and preferences and makes recommendations

· Maintains accurate member charges and presents check for signature

· Keeps work area clean and neat, stock inventory, serve drinks to members and their guests

· Promotes an attitude of teamwork by assisting coworkers

· Works as directed to support the mission and values of Oakland Hills Country Club

· Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Job Competencies:

· Bartending experience preferred

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· TIPS certification preferred

· Strong organizational skills to prioritize work activities

· Strong interpersonal skills required

· Ability to be flexible and self-motivated

· Exceptional customer service skills

Working Conditions:

Work will generally be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Outdoor temperatures can range from 50F to 100F during summer months, and there will be exposure to loud noises and sustained elements. Working schedule is generally 40 hours per week, with some holidays and weekends required. Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as required. General standing, walking, lifting, pushing and pulling movements are required.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
