Position Summary:

Assists the Purchasing Manager with food and non-food item purchasing, receiving and disbursement of items for the Club.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assists with purchasing and inventory operations to ensure pars are maintained and items are ordered timely, and maintains records accurately utilizing Chef Tec and other tracking systems

· Checks in all inventory to ensure items received match the order placed (correct items, numbers, and expiration dates), fresh items are verified as fresh, and follows up on back orders

· Disburses inventory to appropriate departments and storage areas, stores and disposes of items properly according to sanitation and health codes, and cleans and sanitizes food storage and receiving areas daily

· Works with vendors and maintains good vendor relations, assists with monitoring pricing, and assists managers in selecting appropriate products

· Regularly monitors use of supplies to reduce waste and prevent/identify theft

Qualifications:

· Two years of experience in purchasing or culinary product receiving

. Proficient computer skills, familiar with Chef Tec or similar food inventory software

· Requires sanitation certification (may be obtained after hire)

· Able to pass a background check and drug screen

· Able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, which includes, but is not limited to: bending, stooping, standing and walking for long periods, lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
