The Catering Bartender is a crucial member of our catering team, responsible for providing exceptional beverage service at events and functions.

This role requires a skilled and personable individual who can create a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently preparing and serving a variety of drinks to guests.

The Catering Bartender must exhibit professionalism and adaptability, ensuring that all beverage-related aspects of an event run smoothly and exceed the expectations of our clients.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $18.50 - 22.50

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and accommodating special requests.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of bars and beverage stations, ensuring they are stocked, clean, and organized.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and keeping track of consumption during events.
• Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations, including checking identification and refusing service when necessary.
• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures, including handling and storing beverages and equipment correctly.
• Work closely with other catering staff members to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
• Address any issues or concerns related to beverage service promptly and effectively, seeking assistance when needed.
• Encourage guests to try specialty drinks and upsell additional beverage options to enhance their experience.
• Stay informed about current beverage trends and industry developments, continuously improving skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in a catering or hospitality environment, with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (., TIPS, ServSafe) may be required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing priorities and demands as needed.
• Strong team player who collaborates well with others and contributes to a positive work environment.
• Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift / move heavy objects, such as cases of beverages and equipment.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving beverages, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as event schedules dictate
