O'Connor Plumbing is Hiring a Business Development Associate Near Frederick, MD

O'Connor Plumbing is a leading plumbing services provider in the DC-Metro area, committed to delivering high-quality and reliable solutions to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Development Associate to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to existing and potential properties 2-3 times per week, updating visit notes in the company's database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with current and potential clients through a relationship-based approach.
  • Follow up and track job updates on the estimating bid board, ensuring timely responses and coordination with internal teams.
  • Represent the company at business development outings, events, expos, and client meetings, effectively communicating our value proposition and fostering positive relationships.
  • Attend association meetings and events (e.g., IREM, PMA, NVAA) to expand our network, generate leads, and stay informed about industry trends and developments.
  • Maintain the business development database, including customer lists, property touches, and event logs, to support strategic decision-making and relationship management efforts.
  • Assist with event coordination, including planning, logistics, and execution, to ensure successful participation and representation at industry events.
  • Manage social media channels, including content creation, posting schedules, and engagement, to enhance our online presence and support marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in sales, preferably in the plumbing or related industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively pursue sales opportunities, with a strong drive to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing business accounts is a plus.
