The Mayor's Office of Special Projects and Community Events supports the Mayor's commitment to
honor the diverse communities of New York City by organizing, managing and directing Mayoral public
ceremonies, celebrations and receptions, in partnership with city agencies and with the support of the
private sector. These special events are hosted at Gracie Mansion and other iconic sites across the City.
Reporting to the Executive Director of MOSPCE, the Development Manager position is responsible for
researching, developing, and raising the resources necessary to support the events managed by
MOSPCE, including fiscal sponsorships and in-kind donations.

Special working conditions cover a range of circumstances shift work, working outdoors, working with
challenging clients, etc. Candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
