The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources, including but not limited to, recruiting, employment, legal/compliance, policy administration, payroll/benefit administration, training, team member relations, and HR systems support. The HR Manager will help develop best practices for the area, develop team members, and serve as a resource for the division in terms of policy administration. The HR Manager is responsible for motivating, setting expectations, and overall leadership of the HR team. This is a “hands-on” position with time spent both in an office environment and production areas.
Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work while maintaining compliance in all areas of the site within our Quality Control System. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
