• This is a hybrid position – 85% remote and 15% in-person in Houston, TX (77002).

Overview

Our client is actively seeking a Department Support Specialist to join their QC Team, where the contractor will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of commercial and small commercial/residential operations. Responsibilities include meticulously reviewing outgoing invoices to guarantee alignment with contracts, accurate customer information, and correct billing amounts. Assigned to specific markets, the specialist will engage in daily tasks while potentially contributing to additional projects, such as automation initiatives, aimed at enhancing team productivity and effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in a dedicated Analyst position – OR – High School diploma and 5 years of experience in a dedicated QC or QA position. .
• Demonstrates organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Beginner proficiency in PowerBI and SQL.
• Competent in internal team collaboration.
• High attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to leverage resources from other functional groups.
• Strong cross functional collaboration skills.
• Competency in customer service orientation, serving internal and external clients.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask
