Role Summary:

As NPMD's Medical Assistant, you're at the heart of our patient care, working closely with our healthcare professionals to deliver a seamless care experience. This role is ideal for someone who combines medical proficiency with empathy, ensuring each patient feels cared for and respected.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Facilitate outstanding patient care alongside healthcare professionals.
• Prepare patients for examinations, assist in minor procedures, and ensure comfort.
• Record vital signs, medical histories, and maintain up-to-date patient records.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide wound care with precision.
• Perform basic lab tests, handle specimens responsibly, and follow up on results.
• Organize appointments and maintain efficient, confidential patient records.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Deep understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Skilled in medication administration and basic life support.
• Knowledgeable in medical coding, billing, and electronic health record (EHR) management.
• Excellent communicator with a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
