Summary

Our Facial Plastic Surgery Receptionist/Front Desk Lead plays a crucial role in providing medical administrative support and exceptional patient service at the front desk. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a professional and welcoming environment while adhering to medical office protocols and ensuring patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Our ideal candidate would foster a supportive work environment that prioritizes team work and the importance of empathy in patient care. This team player would understand the unique challenges and needs of patients who are interested in looking and feeling their best!

Requirements

• Minimum two year work experience as a receptionist in a medical setting
• Knowledge of office procedures and basic medical terminology
• EXCELLENT communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
• Knowledge of medical aesthetic procedures and injectable products such as neurotoxins, dermal fillers, surgical rejuvenation and skin tightening treatments is a PLUS
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred
• Familiarity with medical scheduling software (Patient Now) is a PLUS

Duties

• Displaying a friendly demeanor as the first face seen in the practice
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar, check patients in and out
• Have full knowledge of our treatments and services and have the ability to answer patient questions about pre and post care
• Daily appointment confirmation calls
• Run daily financial reports, order office supplies and products
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Process payment transactions.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
• Maintain a clean and organized reception and assist with patient flow and treatment room turnover/setup

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
