Ari Hyman, MD is a fast-growing, high-end plastic surgery and aesthetics practice located in Encino. We are currently looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team for a part-time position.

As our Medical Assistant, you will assist patients through their surgical journeys and work closely with the doctor to provide exceptional patient care.

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

• Assist doctor with managing patients (preparing patients, recording medical history/medications, taking photos, performing minor procedures)
• Preparing examinations rooms, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
• Acting as the patient’s point-of-contact for obtaining medical clearances, labs, etc.
• Review and explain pre-operative and post-operative instructions with patients, answering any questions that may arise.
• Responding promptly to patient correspondence (phone calls, emails), addressing inquiries, and providing information.
• Gathering patient information and sending prescriptions to pharmacies.
• When not providing patient care the role may include front office, and administrative tasks.

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Candidate must be a nationally certified Medical Assistant.
• Strong background within the medical industry. Any experience in plastic surgery will be highly regarded.
• Proficient in using electronic health records system.
• Ability to be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• A warm, welcoming demeanor with a genuine love of helping others.
• Customer service skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
