Senior Business Analyst Strategic Planning & Business Integration

Position Overview: 

The Novelis North America Product Management Team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our product management functions to serve as the center of excellence for strategic planning, business integration, and margin management, reporting to the Head of Strategic Planning and Business Integration for the North American Automotive Value Stream. The ideal candidate would be responsible for increasing profitability through aligning new product development to market needs in addition to providing strategic direction on offer development and asset loading among the regional and global Automotive commercial teams.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities: 

• Foster effective communication and close collaboration with Account Managers and cross functional teams to ensure business objectives are met
• Support sales and market strategy objectives while understanding market impacts and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and proactive decision making
• Review historical price levels, maintain deal win-loss, value-in-use and competitor analysis
• Support manager on key product management decisions and serves as primary back-up.
• Effective product portfolio management ensuring future product strategies align with company growth and cost savings
• Profitably manage growth through defining asset loading plans (regional and inter-regional product translation and supply plans).
• Customer Presentations

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of work experience with business analysis, strategy, or operations
• Knowledge of manufacturing; planning, scheduling, finance/budgeting, and/or quality systems
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient computer skills; MS Office, MS Excel
• Detail oriented with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, and project management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, multidimensional environment
• Ability to positively handle change in response to shifting demands, as well as multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Creative and innovative teammate with a positive approach
• Proven track record to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline, preferred

Novelis’ Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people. It is co-located with Novelis’ North America regional office which employs approximately 225 people.
