Job Title : Shipping / Receiving Clerk
Location : Allen, TX
Salary : $50,000 $80,000 (with overtime and benefits)
Industry : Steel Fabrication
The Client :
Our client specializes in sheet metal fabrication in the North of Dallas and is looking to add a new Shipping and Receiving Clerk to their already established team due to their growth and work prospects since the start of 2024.
Responsibilities :
- Assume accountability for part counts, time management, and job tracking.
- Organize and combine jobs for shipment and outside services.
- Wrap, package, protect, and palletize parts for shipment.
- Prepare pack lists, coordinate shipments with shipping companies, and communicate with internal account managers.
Requirements :
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience and certification are required.
- Experience with UPS and FedEx databases and shipping document creation.
- Experience making deliveries using a delivery van or truck.
- The candidate’s driving record will be analyzed.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
