HR Generalist - Hybrid We're partnering with a client based in Atlanta seeking to hire an HR Generalist. Here are the details : The HR Generalist operates at a professional level across various functional areas including: Employee Relations, Recruitment, Management Coaching, Training and Development, Employment, Affirmative Action and Employment Equity programs, Benefits Management, Payroll Management, and Legal Compliance. We're seeking an individual who is perceptive, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels, and driven by the needs of both the company and its employees. Responsibilities :
Onboarding: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires, facilitating their smooth integration into the organization.
Payroll Assistance: Support the Payroll Manager by handling various payroll tasks such as processing timesheets, maintaining accurate payroll records, and addressing employee payroll inquiries.
Benefits Administration: Assist in the rollout of annual benefits packages and provide guidance to employees regarding benefit-related queries and concerns.
HR Support: Offer comprehensive HR support to both employees and management, including interpreting policies, resolving conflicts, and managing performance-related issues.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data.
Reporting: Generate necessary HR reports for management review as required.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
Thorough understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR). Experience in the construction industry or a related field.
