Our client, a Commercial Estate Company located in the Dallas area, is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper with commercial real estate experience to join their team.
Job responsibilities include:
Accounts receivable – collect rent and management fees, ensure prompt collection of both, maintain customer files and communicate with tenants and property owners
Accounts payable – code, sort and pay invoices, maintain vendor files, and communicate with vendors, prepare annual 1099s
Payroll – process weekly payroll, pay applicable taxes and benefits, file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Bank accounts – reconcile bank statements, make deposits, and monitor bank activity
Prepare monthly reports for managed properties
Reconcile tenant CAM, real estate taxes and insurance
Benefits administration experience would be a plus
Skills required:
Must be proficient with QuickBooks
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have a minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience
