Job Description

We are in search of a Cartographer and GIS Analyst with a meticulous eye for detail and a knack for perfection to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will excel in the creation of detailed reports and maps, as well as custom data analyses and statistics surrounding geographic information, leveraging a robust set of tools including Esri Suite and Adobe products. A profound understanding of commercial real estate terminology, exceptional communication skills, and a consistently positive attitude are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft detailed reports using Esri’s Business Analyst Online, highlighting market dynamics, demographic trends, and spatial relationships.

• Design intricate market aerial maps with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, prioritizing accuracy and aesthetic detail.

• Produce comprehensive overview maps in ArcGIS Pro, offering brokers vital information on competitive landscapes, retail synergy, existing storefronts, and target areas.

• Perform bespoke data analysis for clients, integrating proprietary data to generate custom insights and strategic recommendations.

• Oversee the upkeep of online maps using ArcGIS Online and possess practical experience with Instant Apps and Experience Builder for dynamic content creation and management.

• Apply advanced location analytics through tools like Placer.ai to augment our understanding of market conditions and opportunities.

• Effectively communicate complex data findings to brokers and clients, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.

• Collaborate closely with the team to refine data visualization and analysis methodologies, aiming for the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in GIS software, especially in Esri products.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a strong focus on cartographic design and precision.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in all work products.

• A positive solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

• A solid grasp of statistics and programming languages for data analysis is preferred.

• Background in commercial real estate analysis, familiar with key concepts such as property leasing, tenant representation, investment, and brokerage is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
