Position Summary
REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
within the BioTE Hormone Replacement Clinic
We seek an RN interested in women’s health with a focus on
the peri-menopausal and menopausal time of a women’s life.
We spend extra educational time focusing on diet, exercise,
balance disorder, hormone optimization, osteoporosis
prevention, sexual health, and aging with high quality of life.
This position is responsible for providing primary care to
patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning,
and medical care evaluation. Requires a professional person
with excellent organizational, computer and customer
service skills.
Education and Licensing Requirements
Completion of a registered nursing program from an accredited school of nursing with a
minimum of 1 year practice experience.
Preferred: at least 2 years of practical experience in a women’s health or OB/GYN office.

Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Obtaining patient consent for care and
- Obtaining and documenting health
health risk factors, and assessing disease
conditions
- Providing care based on practice
state laws and regulations
- Executing prescribed treatments and
prescribed medications; and monitoring
and documenting treatment progress and
patient response
- Delegating as allowed under the Nurse
- Referring to/consulting with physicians,
resources to prevent/resolve concerns
- Educating patients and families about
management of acute and chronic
conditions
- Documenting patient assessment and
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams to
outcomes
- Tracking quality assurance data and
management
- Skill in time management, problem
- Excellent skills in customer service and
- Skill in initiating appropriate crisis
- Skill in patient triage, in person and on
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to analyze options and then
counsel patients and families about
choices
- Ability to make referrals to other
- Effective oral and textual communication
- Ability to engage clients and families in
the development and implementation of
a care plan
- Ability to read and interpret physicians’
- Ability to calculate and administer drug
results
- Ability to be flexible with changing
- Knowledge of nursing processes,
systems, structure and functions
- Understanding of health care technology,
- Familiarity with state law on nursing care,
policies and procedures
- Knowledge of wellness/illness, growth
psycho-social factors, and alternative
health care treatments
- Knowledge of chart/medical record
federal/state laws related to release of
health care information
