JOB SUMMARY: Assists in monitoring CNAs during in-home personal care and providing evaluations on performance, and in the oversight of nursing functions at Elder Day Stay

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse by the State of Florida
• A reliable personal vehicle available and a good driving record
• Experience working with the elderly, particularly in an adult day care setting (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stoop, lift, bend, and move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to use proper body mechanics in assisting clients to transfer
• Must pass a level II criminal history check and drug screen prior to employment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. Audits Elder Day Stay’s nurse medication administration logs and process on a monthly basis.

Observes HHA and CNAs as they perform PECA services to clients.

3. Prepares written evaluations on personal care appointments administered by CNAs

4. Maintain and complete all required records, reports and other activities.

5. Attend staff meetings, staff training, and other activities integral to Elder Care Services as requested.

6. Be available during hours of operation for consulting purposes, if needed.

7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Elder Day Stay, the Clinical Director, and/or the President/CEO.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week
