North Country Education Services is Hiring a School Psychologist Near Gorham, NH

North Country Education Services, a non-profit educational organization in northern New Hampshire, is seeking a School Psychologist. An NCES school psychologist will conduct psychoeducational evaluations. Daily responsibilities also include consultation with staff and administrators in regards to behavior management, IEP goals, teaching strategies, and special education procedures. Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments is a plus. All assessment materials are provided and frequent contact with fellow school psychologists is available through optional monthly peer supervision meetings. The ideal candidates must be independent but motivated by working as a member of the team, organized, show initiative, and have an up-to-date and confident knowledge of evaluation theory, tools, and practices. NCES provides specialized, certified staff for a number of school districts in northern New Hampshire and Vermont. The immediate area affords the opportunity to explore the White Mountains of New Hampshire through hiking, alpine and Nordic skiing, mountain biking, ATV and snowmobile riding as well as other outdoor activities. New Hampshire has tax-free shopping and is within three hours of Boston, Montreal, and Burlington, VT.
