The job of SLPA works under the supervision of a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist to complete a variety of tasks such as activities designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor skill development for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication.SLPA Certification required.The ideal candidate must be independent but motivated by working as a member of the team, organized, show initiative, and have an up-to-date and confident knowledge of evaluation theory, tools, and practices. For the FY25 school year, this assignment will serve three schools in Coos County (northern NH). NCES' main office is in Gorham, NH. Services are provided to school districts in Coos, upper Grafton and upper Carroll County schools.
