SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Provide engineering and construction project management services for the construction, repair, maintenance, planning, design, and/or procurement of facilities and equipment for the waterfront and landside terminals operated by the NCSPA. Such facilities include warehouses, buildings, roads, wharfs and docks, cargo handling equipment, railroads and bridges, drainage, utilities, parking areas and any other facilities requiring engineering services.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Will spend most of work hours in normal office conditions, but will require frequent visits to construction sites, wetlands and undeveloped properties which may be difficult to access to conduct visits and inspections in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to obtain access to existing wharf and building facilities, roofs, and other areas not normally accessible to the public. May be required to access and use small boats for waterside berth inspections. Travel by motor vehicle is required. Attendance at out-of-town functions involving overnight stays may be required. No heavy lifting is required.
