Summary: Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, this position provides daily support for operations of the Credit Union’s computing resources and provides support to credit union staff for routine issues relating to software, hardware, network and applications. Investigates and follows up with answers as required. Coordinates requested service calls with Network Engineers and I.T. personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides first level support via telephone according to established service levels.
Maintains Help Desk tracking software and coordinates Network Engineers and other I.T. personnel to perform service calls.
Reports open problems and prioritizations to the Information Technology Manager.
Provides support to desktop systems and applications for all credit union systems.
Ensures consistent availability and high quality support of hardware and software systems.
Acts as the liaison between branches and the I.T. department for support needs including supplies related to printers, workstations, and telecommunications.
Responsible for purchasing branch I.T. related supplies as directed by the Information Technology Manager.
Develops and maintains documentation as directed by the Information Technology Manager.
May be required to perform occasional field calls as directed by the Information Technology Manager.
Exercises awareness in regards to suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior as it relates to cash transactions and overall transaction activity and document any such behavior so SAR filings can be considered.
Ensures compliance with all safety, security and compliance programs including but not limited to BSA, AML, OFAC, Branch Security and Safety.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Associate degree from two-year college or school; or two to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience or training. Financial institution experience preferred.
