Job Overview:
Responsible for supervising the daily cargo handling activities of ATL contracted cargo handling vendor. Supervise the freight operations and implement approved processes that ensure customer satisfaction. Sales support for ATL station – responsible for promoting NCA services with agents, shippers, and interline partners. Coordinate ATL customer service need

Responsibilities:
Your primary customers are freight forwarders, governmental agencies, other NCA departments and employees; as well as with our business partners (i.e. ground handling companies, trucking companies, etc.). Initiate work procedures and practices that focus on continuous improvement and quality. Provide management and training to enable the department to operate in an efficient and safe manner.

Report operational activities on a routine basis to the Asst. Manager, Sales and communicate at all levels within NCA to maintain established departmental priorities and procedures. You will interact with customers, other NCA locations/branches and governmental agencies, ground handling management and staff.

Supervisor the freight service function as provided by contracted cargo handling services. Coordination and management of offline trucking needs. Accurate documentation of all operational procedures. Knowledge of governmental agency regulatory requirements. Coordination with other NCA branches and departments on all cargo-related matters.

Facilitate daily activities by identifying problems and recommending solutions to maintain proper compliance with NCA standards and goals.

Attend job specific training as required.

Support the Assistant Manager, Sales to maintain and enhance the linkage between the customers’ needs and the Sales and Freight Service functions. Maximize capacity and revenue. Source new clients. Maintain strong customer service with clients, vendors and NCA branches.

Other administrative tasks may include some required budget assistance; payment processing, and scheduling.

Requirements:
-Possess a complete understanding of freight operations and revenue goals in order to delegate work and manage the freight operations.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
