About this Position / Responsibilities

NFF,Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our organization's network systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure network infrastructures.
• Configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
• Perform network capacity planning and upgrade activities as needed.
• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and IT staff.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

Skills

• Minimum of five years of experience working as a Network Engineer in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and MPLS.
• Experience with network hardware and software from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, etc.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
