Dealer Account Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Dealer Account Manager will provide direct account support to the Outside Sales Representatives, National Sales Manager, our VP of Sales, and our most valued assets, our customers. They will be focused on the company’s buying group and independent dealer business to help generate revenue for the company by supporting the sales team in the field. We are looking for someone who not only lives and breathes our brands but is able to share that passion with our brick-and-mortar retailers to help ensure they succeed.

RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES

• Developing strong professional relationships with key dealers
• Managing incoming sales calls from prospective customers
• Preparation of customer specific reporting and presentations
• Assist in product forecasts and retailer line reviews
• Facilitate inventory analysis and corrections, along with future event planning
• Building and cultivating beneficial relationships with existing and new accounts
• Entering and maintaining orders from customers
• Ability to cross-sell products where necessary
• Light travel a few times a year, which may include weekends
• Represent the company at tradeshows

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical capabilities and understanding of retail math
• Customer service oriented

· Highly proficient in MS Excel

• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline driven environment

· Solid prioritization and organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects at once

· Background in analysis and account management is preferred

· Previous experience with a National Retailer or wholesale business is also preferred

• Being a team player is essential to succeed
• Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
• Able to manage your time effectively, without being micromanaged

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years related experience in inside sales and/or account management
• Highly proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite – with an emphasis on Excel
• Experience with EDI (preferred)
• Familiarity with SPS (preferred)

· Associated or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (preferred)

• Interest in hunting and/or outdoor pursuits (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
