Legacy landlord/owner with over 8000 units in NYC is seeking a well rounded Property Manager to join their team.

Candidates must have a deep understanding of working with HPD and clearing violations, a strong history of impactful resident relations and working with other teams within the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage workflows to clear violations and maintain compliance with HPD and DOB
• Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by responding to questions, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
• Walk the property grounds and inspect units, documenting any maintenance or compliance issues.
• Works within house legal team to track status of rent payments and collections.
• Oversee property unit turns and repairs, working with facilities teams and contractors to ensure work is completed on time.
• Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• 3 years experience in NYC rent stabilization as an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager
• Experience managing capital improvement projects and apartment maintenance
• Demonstrated work history and knowledge of compliance with HPD and DOB regulations
• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized and problem solve
• Excellent communication skills
• Spanish speaking is preferred
• Drivers license is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
