Role - Junior / Mid level Business Analyst
Location - Houston, TX (2 Days HYBRID)
Exp: 6 yrs
Note:
Candidate needs to be local to Houston, TX (No relocation)
Candidate should be permanent resident or USC (No exception)
Key Skills:
5 years’ experience as a BA
should have any kind of Application development Experience
Analytical Skills, Connect the dots, proactive in terms of delivery
User Stories (both functional and technical)
Tech Review sessions / story grooming sessions
Agile/Scrum experience. Participate in Scrum of Scrums and lead as needed
Nice to have:
** Azure ADO ALM Experience (Nice to have) - Run queries and views
****Business Process Flows (Need to understand the impact from BRD) - Visio or Lucid Charts **
Position:
Review complex processes, produce or adjust stories and workflows (Visio/LC), bring back to business for approval.
Once business approves, leads review session with dev team and works with SMEs to produce user stories.
Ensures the definition of DONE is aligned across devs, QAs, business.
Team does not have a dedicated scrum master.
Need to have very strong agile skills, able to drill into the backlog.
SMEs will assist BA from KT perspective
Location of dev teams - onshore and offshore mix ( 1st half of the day overlap CST)
Description:
This BA will be supporting a large Pilot Contract Renewal Project
Client just redid their pilot contract and Client’s has not been completed yet.
Currently going through all the contract reviews and working with their union.
Once signed, they will have a lot to do around terms and conditions and updating their systems accordingly per the contract.
Trying to get people onboard before the contract is signed so they have ramp time, will be around 30 people total supporting the effort (BAs, PMs, Developers)
Would be working with existing application team members at client who would bring the BAs up to speed on how the contract is integrated into Crew applications today.
Not a greenfield project, this is what we have, this is what we need to change.
