In this role, you'll have an opportunity to work closely with the Emergency Department and Pharmacy team to continue quality patient care services. You'll provide collaborative pharmaceutical care to patients while working in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. In addition, you will have a chance to showcase your clinical skills by participating in code responses and assisting with in-service/education. While assisting with the pharmacy’s quality assurance activities, you’ll have a direct hand in ensuring compliance with both patient care and medical practice standards.

This is a full-time pharmacist (Emergency Medicine) evening shift position Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital

Preferred Criteria:

• Postgraduate year 2 ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency (Emergency Medicine or Critical Care)

Required Criteria:

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
• Current Licensed and Registered in New York State.
• Postgraduate year 1 ASHP-accredited residency.
• In compliance with CE Credit requirements.
• Decision Making and Judgment -Professional competence and common sense.
• Equipment -Basic knowledge of computer applications (i.e. MS Word, E-mail, etc.).
